Position: Motel/Hotel Manager

Salary: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year plus superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week

Mode: Full-time

Location: Apollo Bay Victoria

Sandpiper Motel (Wisdom Infinity) is looking for a qualified and experienced Motel Manager for a permanent full-time position to work and be part of their team.

Duties:

• Plan, implement and manage overall hotel operations
• Directing reservations, security, supervising reception, hospitality and housekeeping activities
• Set, manage and maintain budgets and financial plans in order to achieve sales and profit targets
• Employ, train, liaise with staff, and evaluate staff performance
• Planning and implementing marketing strategies for social media
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with visitors and clients

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as Hotel or Motel Manager or similar role in hospitality industry
• Proven excellent customer service experience and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Flexible to work in a shifting schedule and can work in the evenings, on weekends and on public holidays
• Strong leadership, organization, coordination, motivational and people skills are important

A remuneration package between $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
