Salary: $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week

Our Client Doreen Eatery Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Chef to join their team located in Doreen VIC 3754. This role involves preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes while ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene.

Tasks required include:

• Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s menu and quality standards.
• Plan menus, estimate food requirements and monitor ingredient availability.
• Ensure food is prepared and cooked in compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, presentation and consistency.
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations.
• Manage food stock, inspect deliveries and minimise wastage.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure the kitchen is clean and organised.
• Assist with menu development, recipe costing and controlling food costs.
• Coordinate food preparation and service to ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Qualification and Experience

• Cert IV in Cookery and 3 years of experience
