Position: Facilities Manager

Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week

Mode: Full-time

Location: DARRA QLD

About the role:

Graystone Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to work on a full-time basis. You will oversee a commercial and industrial portfolio, overseeing the operation management of valued private assets.

Key Tasks:

• Developing and maintaining strong working relationship with asset owners
• Managing relationships with occupiers to maintain income flow for asset owners
• Obtaining quotes and negotiating with vendors to establish service contract terms
• Managing the delivery of facility management contracts which may include security, cleaning, parking and technology services
• Ensuring preventative maintenance is scheduled, delivered and documented
• Following progress of any capital improvement such as a fit-out and refurbishments as they relate to business income
• Overseeing asset lease arrangement and renewals
• Providing feedback to asset owners and occupiers on matters that affect any common property
• Responding to emergencies situations by sourcing appropriate personnel or trades to attend asset
• Staying abreast of trends to forecast potential needs and requirements of assets
• Understanding risks and communicating with asset owners to ensure compliance
• Advising asset owners on sustainability initiatives
• Ensuring that the assets meet building compliance and government regulations
• Identifying and reporting on Occupational, Health and Safety concerns
• Providing monthly reports to management
• Three years of relevant experience
• Able to interact confidently with asset stakeholders
• Able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

All applicants must hold a current QLD drivers licence and be proficient in DPC Manager.
