Position: E&I Technician

Hours: 38 hours per week

Location: Karratha, WA

Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is looking for a E&I Technician, responsible for overseeing and coordinate the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the fertilizer plant. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our E&I team at Karratha for Perdaman’s Ammonia & Urea project. Perdaman, a leading player in the fertiliser industry with its corporate office in Western Australia, is looking for a candidate to fulfill the responsibilities as identified in this position description.

Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is a leading Australian manufacturer focused on fertilizer production and sustainable energy solutions. With a commitment to innovation and efficiency, PCF is developing Project Ceres, which is Australia’s largest urea manufacturing plant, located in Karratha, Western Australia.

Education/ Experience Requirements:

• Electrician with full working rights in Australia and Certificate -IV in Instrumentation or Australian Licensed Electrician with demonstrable experience in process
• Minimum of 5 years in chemical, petrochemical, or fertiliser plant
• Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting of assets in responsible areas.
• Previous experience in Process Plants. Familiar with electrical equipment in Hazardous Area (EEHA).
• Full working rights in Australia or eligible to get working rights in Australia and fulfill Australian visa requirements if applying from outside Australia.
• Engineering qualification recognised by Engineers Australia and eligible to pass the skill assessment
• Conversant with English language
• Physically capable of traversing the plant and accessing process plant and equipment at different elevations
